Mixin Classes in Odoo 17 How to Extend Models Using Mixin Classes
Week 2: TED Talk Evaluation Slide Show
1. In this special TED Talk,
David Kelley talks to you
about building up your
creative confidence that
you may have lost.
2. David Kelley is a great story teller
and uses this talent to grab the
attention during his introduction.
3. Davids story telling technique was
used throughout the course of the
TED Talk and helped the viewer
draw closer and remain engaged
with each story he told.
4. TED Commandment:
Show us the real you
David Kelley shared with us about the day he
found a lump in his throat. Preparing for the fight
of his life, he took the time to find his passion and
purpose in life, not knowing if he was going to live
or die. Today he lives and is committed to helping
others find their creative confidence within.
David has mastered the TED
Commandment “Show us the real you”
and continues to deliver this using real
life stories to better connect with his
audience.
5. Dynamism Evaluation:
I am giving David a 3/5 rating. Even though I found
myself pulled in by his stories, I didn’t find that he was
someone that possessed a ton of energy or animation. If
it wasn't for his excellent story telling, he would of lost
me.
6. Focused:
Based off the principles and tips given by Garr Reynolds and Nancy Duarte, David Kelly
remained focused and presented with a purpose from beginning to end. This is an important
tip to ensure your delivery is successful.

8. Great Story Teller
Attracting From Your Delivery
I was able to see how important telling
a story is from David Kelley. I didn’t find
him to be a speaker with a great amount of
energy, but I was pulled in from his simple
story telling style.
9. Great Story Teller Dry Mouth
Attracting From Your Delivery Distracting From Your Delivery
I was able to see how important telling I am not sure if David was nervous, but for
a story is from David Kelley. I didn’t find some reason his dry mouth during his speaking
him to be a speaker with a great amount of really distracted me. Perhaps he needs to be
energy, but I was pulled in from his simple the speaker that always has a bottle of water
story telling style. at hand during his speaking events.
10. Sir Ken Robinson VS David Kelley
Funny & Personal:
Both men are incredible speakers, but also
very different in their own right as well.
Sir Ken Robinson seems to have the keen
ability to attract an audience with comedy
while being personal at the same time.
Whereas David Kelley is much more serious
with the occasional joke but more focused
on getting his point across with a more
personal but serious approach.
11. Tip #1
Its important to catch the attention of your audience from the very beginning or you will
lose them to dream land. Being very animated or funny is a great way to keep the viewers
eyes from closing on you.
12. Tip #2
Make sure that you always have a glass of water available to you to drink. You may find
yourself with a bad case of cotton mouth and making it difficult to speak. This could
distract those watching you from getting the message you are trying to get across.
