3. Freestyle
1. Kick with feet together moving up and
down.
2. Arms follow the windmill motion with
one hand going into water when the
other hand exits the water.
3. When hand in water pull through
making an ‘S’ shape
4. Breathe when hand is out in front.
5. Make sure you don’t lift head to high,
because you want to be in a streamline
position.
4. Backstroke
1. Start on your back
2. the kick is as the same as a freestyle
kick only on your back.
3. Keep head straight do not move it
around.
4. Move hands in windmill motion, while
one hand is inside the water the other
hand is outside the water.
5. The pull through the water should be
an ‘S’ shape
6. When one hand is entering the water
make sure the other hand is exiting the
water.
7. You must enter the water with little
finger first.
