    • Dr.hans von ohain was born on December 14 1911 died on march 13 1998.frank whittle was born on June 1 1907 died on August 8 1996 .
  • 3. About the jet
    • The inventors invented the jet. It took its first flight on august 27 1939.It was named the german hieniel he-178.It was invented just after world war 2. Germany pilots used jet propulsion for missels. Hans von ohain was granted a pantent for his engine in 1936 .
  • 4. About Dr.Hans von ohain
    • He was a German designer who made the jet engine. Dr. hans von Ohain made a new type of aircraft engine. His new engine was finished in September 1937.
  • 5. About Sir Frank Whittle
    • Sir Frank whittle was a pilot he was in the royal airforce. He joined the fighter squadron in 1928.He was the first think of a turbine. He began to make his first engine in 1935.
