a dot with four radiating outward either resembles a four-leaf
clover or the cross pattee, also associated with the Knights
Templar, as well as with the German Military and today's
Freemasons. What famous design pattern is being discussed

The X symbolized the ideological conflict and physical boundary dividing
Europe into two separate areas from the end of World War II in 1945 until the
end of the Cold War in 1991. The term symbolized efforts by the Soviet Union
to block itself and its satellite states from open contact with the west and non-
Soviet-controlled areas. On the east side of the X were the countries that were
connected to or influenced by the Soviet Union. On either side of the X, states
developed their own international economic and military alliances:
Member countries of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance and the
Warsaw Pact, with the Soviet Union as the leading state
Member countries of the European Community and/or the North Atlantic Treaty
Organization and with the United States as the leading country
Physically, the X took the form of border defenses between the countries of
Europe in the middle of the continent. The most notable border was marked by
the Berlin Wall and its Checkpoint Charlie which served as a symbol. What is

On 19 February 2012, 17–year–old male X and his father travelled to Sanford, Florida
to visit his father’s fiancée in the Retreat at Twin Lakes housing development.. During
the halftime of the NBA All–Star Game on 26 February, X walked to a nearby
convenience store to get an iced tea and a bag of Skittles for himself and his
stepbrother–to–be. X caught the eye of Neighborhood Watch volunteer George
Zimmerman, a 28–year–old Hispanic man, as he drove his car on an errand.
Zimmerman had previously reported suspicious individuals to the Sanford Police
Department on five occasions, including an incident on 2 February 2012, when he
reported two young black men, who went on to burglarize a house four days later.
Zimmerman called the Sanford Police Department to report X. As Zimmerman called the
police, X was on the phone with his girlfriend, and told her that someone was following
him. While Zimmerman spoke to the police dispatcher, X fled, and the dispatcher asked
him not to pursue him. Zimmerman pursued X anyway. An altercation occurred between
the two, which Zimmerman has claimed was initiated by X. Zimmerman sustained
injuries to his nose and the back of his head. A witness called 911; cries for help and a
gunshot can be heard on the call audio. Stanford Police officers arrived, followed by
Sanford Fire Rescue. Martin was pronounced dead at the scene, and Zimmerman
admitted to shooting X. The police took Zimmerman in for evidence collection, but
eventually freed him at 1:00 AM that night. Police Chief Bill Lee cited Florida’s Stand
Your Ground law and claimed he lacked the evidence necessary to negate
Zimmerman’s claim that he shot Martin in self–defense. On 11 April, Zimmerman was
charged with second–degree murder by Angela Corey, a Florida prosecutor. On 13 July
2013, Zimmerman was found not guilty of all charges. Our study ends with the reactions
to Zimmerman’s arrest through 30 April 2012 and does not consider his trial and

The X’s unusual design features – the round building,
bulge in the middle, the narrow taper at the top and
spiraling design – create an impact in more ways than you
might think. The cylindrical shape minimizes whirlwinds
that can form at the base of large buildings, something that
can be predicted by computer modeling using the math of
turbulence.
What’s more, the bulging middle and tapered top give the
illusion of a shorter building that doesn’t block out sunlight,
helping to maximize natural ventilation and saving on air
conditioning, as well as lighting and heating bills. Built with the
help of CAD (Computer Aided Design) and parametric modeling,
the X is now a distinctive feature in London’s city skyline. Identify

The X is a region of the Solar System beyond the planets, extending from
the orbit of Neptune (at 30 AU) to approximately 50 AU from the Sun.It is
similar to the asteroid belt, but it is far larger—20 times as wide and 20 to 200
times as massive.Like the asteroid belt, it consists mainly of small bodies, or
remnants from the Solar System's formation The X is home to three IAU-
recognized dwarf planets: Pluto, Haumea, and Makemake. Some of the Solar
System's moons, such as Neptune's Triton and Saturn's Phoebe, are also
believed to have originated in the region.
Pluto is the largest member of the X, and the second largest known TNO, the
largest being Eris in the scattered disc.Originally considered a planet, Pluto's
status as part of the X caused it to be reclassified as a "dwarf planet" in 2006.
It is compositionally similar to many other objects of the X, and its orbital
period is characteristic of a class of KBOs, known as "plutinos", that share
the same 2:3 resonance with Neptune. Identify X…

X, is the difference between the value of money and the cost
to produce and distribute it. The term can be applied in the
following ways:
X derived from specie—metal coins—is a tax, added to the
total price of a coin (metal content and production costs),
that a customer of the mint had to pay to the mint, and that
was sent to the sovereign of the political area.
X derived from notes is more indirect, being the difference
between interest earned on securities acquired in exchange
for bank notes and the costs of producing and distributing
those notes.
However, monetary X refers to the sovereign revenue
obtained through routine debt monetization, including
expanding the money supply during GDP growth and
meeting yearly inflation targets.
X is a convenient source of revenue for some governments.

The X is a collegiate athletic conference comprising sports
teams from eight private institutions of higher education in
the Northeastern United States. The conference name is
also commonly used to refer to those eight schools as a
group. The term X has connotations of academic
excellence, selectivity in admissions, and social elitism.
The term became official after the formation of
the NCAA Division I athletic conference in 1954.The use of
the phrase is no longer limited to athletics, and now
represents an educational philosophy inherent to the
nation's oldest schools. Seven of the members were
founded during the United States colonial period; the
exception is Cornell, which was founded in 1865. X account
for seven of the nine members chartered before
the American Revolution, the other two being Rutgers
University and College of William & Mary.
X financial endowments range from $3.2 billion to $36.4
billion , the largest financial endowment of any academic
institution in the world.

In the Harry Potter novel series, the incantation X is known as the Killing Curse.
During an audience interview at the Edinburgh Book Festival on 15 April 2004, series
author J. K. Rowling had this to say about the fictional Killing Curse's etymology:
"Does anyone know where X came from? It is an ancient spell in Aramaic, and it is the
original of Y, which means 'let the thing be destroyed.' Originally, it was used to cure
illness and the 'thing' was the illness, but I decided to make it the 'thing' as in the
person standing in front of me. I take a lot of liberties with things like that. I twist them
round and make them mine."

  • 26. <Q2> On 19 February 2012, 17–year–old male X and his father travelled to Sanford, Florida to visit his father’s fiancée in the Retreat at Twin Lakes housing development.. During the halftime of the NBA All–Star Game on 26 February, X walked to a nearby convenience store to get an iced tea and a bag of Skittles for himself and his stepbrother–to–be. X caught the eye of Neighborhood Watch volunteer George Zimmerman, a 28–year–old Hispanic man, as he drove his car on an errand. Zimmerman had previously reported suspicious individuals to the Sanford Police Department on five occasions, including an incident on 2 February 2012, when he reported two young black men, who went on to burglarize a house four days later. Zimmerman called the Sanford Police Department to report X. As Zimmerman called the police, X was on the phone with his girlfriend, and told her that someone was following him. While Zimmerman spoke to the police dispatcher, X fled, and the dispatcher asked him not to pursue him. Zimmerman pursued X anyway. An altercation occurred between the two, which Zimmerman has claimed was initiated by X. Zimmerman sustained injuries to his nose and the back of his head. A witness called 911; cries for help and a gunshot can be heard on the call audio. Stanford Police officers arrived, followed by Sanford Fire Rescue. Martin was pronounced dead at the scene, and Zimmerman admitted to shooting X. The police took Zimmerman in for evidence collection, but eventually freed him at 1:00 AM that night. Police Chief Bill Lee cited Florida’s Stand Your Ground law and claimed he lacked the evidence necessary to negate Zimmerman’s claim that he shot Martin in self–defense. On 11 April, Zimmerman was charged with second–degree murder by Angela Corey, a Florida prosecutor. On 13 July 2013, Zimmerman was found not guilty of all charges. Our study ends with the reactions to Zimmerman’s arrest through 30 April 2012 and does not consider his trial and
  • 27. <Q3> The X’s unusual design features – the round building, bulge in the middle, the narrow taper at the top and spiraling design – create an impact in more ways than you might think. The cylindrical shape minimizes whirlwinds that can form at the base of large buildings, something that can be predicted by computer modeling using the math of turbulence. What’s more, the bulging middle and tapered top give the illusion of a shorter building that doesn’t block out sunlight, helping to maximize natural ventilation and saving on air conditioning, as well as lighting and heating bills. Built with the help of CAD (Computer Aided Design) and parametric modeling, the X is now a distinctive feature in London’s city skyline. Identify X
