The right to protection from armed conflict or war by Sam
1. THE RIGHT TO PROTECTION FROM
ARMED CONFLICTS OR WAR
By Sam
2. WHY I CHOSE THE RIGHT TO BE
PROTECTED FROM ARMED CONFLICTS
OR WAR
Why I chose it?
I want to do something different from everybody else
I want to show that war isn’t a good solution for a problem
and children should always be protected, especially in war
3. CHILDREN AT WAR
Why do children go to war?
Children don’t choose to go to war they
are forced to fight in wars because the
army may need more soldiers
For many child soldiers their whole lives
may have been spent in war
4. THE PRICES OF WAR
What is the price of war?
Children die from landmines because they
might be curious and pick up the landmine
In the 1990s - 2,000,000 children died
in wars
When the child soldier goes home to his
family, everybody might be gone
5. A HELPING HAND
Does any one help children that go to
war?
War Child international is a couple groups
of people that help children that have
been injured by war
UNICEF (United Nations International
Children’s Emergency Fund) helps children
that have been in war get back to their
regular lives
6. WHY AND HOW SHOULD THIS RIGHT
BE UPHELD
Why should this right be upheld?
Because children don’t deserve to be dragged into
war
They also don’t deserve to die so young
How should this right be upheld
People should stop using children in war
We should just stop having wars
