“It is useful to develop measurable indicators for each objective. Measurable
indicators are quantifiable measurements that are developed for each
objective ahead of time and are used to determine whether progress is being
made towards the program’s long term goals.
For example, how will you know if:
• The program is structured in the best way to meet the needs of vulnerable
populations?
• Vulnerable populations are being reached?
• Partner agencies are developing the capacity to better serve vulnerable
populations?
• The behaviours and situations of vulnerable populations are changing?
• The targeted population is becoming healthier?”
