To enroll in the best universities of the world, students need to have excellent knowledge and comprehension of English. The major barrier between an intermediate and advanced level is a vocabulary. And there are no effective tools to enhance it as it needs to be increased by several thousands words. The idea is to provide a really big amount of different content around the words that are learned and to get people to be active: not only reading and watching but communicating with each other. To do this we built the platform where everyone is learning the same words simultaneously. We hope that this will help to achieve critical mass of people that will start to communicate. Moreover, gamification on every stage will help to involve people into the next type of activity.

Lessons (word sets) are tied to the calendar. In this way,
students learn the same words simultaneously and can
interact
● by writing stories with words
● by commenting other stories
● by setting “likes”
Example: student may start from 14th lesson,
after 100th they will switch to 1st and finish on
13th.

Our site (www.vocword.com) has basic functionality, sometimes it is not user
friendly enough, but it works.
Every week 2 new lessons appear there.
First version of our mobile application for Android will be
available for beta-testing in the end of November
It will be “native” and extremely fast, so it will work even on
old and cheap devices.
We are preparing new content all the time. At this moment we have:
