Brief description about who I am.

1. About
I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. I grew up surrounded
by art and art-loving parents who enjoyed traveling.
Traveling around the world and seeing and experiencing
different cultures and art and design tendencies broadened
my education and encouraged my creative development.
With art and design being a big part of my life I decided
to study a career in Product Design at Tec de Monterrey,
campus Guadalajara. During my studies I had many
international experiences, including a workshop in Laussane,
Switzerland at the ECAL school of Design where I worked
in collaboration with students from this university to create
projects which would combine our different cultural
experiences; a six-month foreign exchange program in
Florence Italy, where I studied a course in jewellery design
and fabrication at Lorenzo de Medici Institute and a couple
of short courses on jewellery and ceramics at Central Saint
Martins in London.
As a result of my traveling my work has an international
influence integrating mexican culture with a range of different
cultures from all over the world including the eye for detail
of the Swiss and the quality of the Italian. This multicultural
background has influenced the way I approach problems
and the outcome of my designs.
