2. When composing your bridal bouquet, take a page from classical music. Variations on a theme can
be just as powerful and intriguing as a riot of contrasting notes. Here you will find groups of blooms in
similar shades that make true harmonious arrangements.
Greenhouse effect. A bridal bouquet need not be packed with petals to impress. If anything the
sparing use of shapely lady slipper orchids against a verdant grass drop of peppergrass air plants,
scabiosa pods, and succulents make the flowers stand out even more. Bind stems with a leather
cord to underscore the earthiness
Cream and White. It’s easy to give classic white blossoms a modern look. Just need to add a few
copper accents and hints of tints. We used hellebore iceberg roses and spray roses with magnolia
leaves and a wide embroidered satin ribbon in this bouquet.
Sunny rays. Think of this bridal bouquet a free-form arrangement as your prairie-home companion.
A tangle of tiny blooms-sugar baby orchids, oncidium orchids, bunny tail grass, and cedar and
mimosa branches- becomes more than the sum of its petite parts when tied with a lace ribbon and
raffia leaves.

3. Peach Cream. An array of muted shades and an artificial relaxed shape is both surprising
and sophisticated. Our twist on the traditional trailing bouquet includes a smattering of
barely budding spirea boughs among a spray of garden roses, lilies, ranunculus and
Andromeda. Finish with loops of luxe velveteen and satin ribbons, leaving the ends long and
loose.
Paint Purples. Picture this bridal bouquet as a mix of violet, lavender plus a few green blooms
reaching for the sky. A clutch of tulips, lilacs, sweetpeas, ranunculus, and astrantia may as
well be put together for a nice assortment for a bridal bouquet.
The Bright Stuff. A vibrant bridal bouquet includes romantic antique roses, begonias, zinnias,
carnations, and gartenmeinster fuchsias bound with a wide striped ribbon.
