What is Urbanization
         • Urbanization is when people move from their
                 own homes on a farm to a home in the city
                 for a job so that they don’t have to rely on
                 themselves
         • A business or factory in someones own home
         • There was a migration of people from rural
                 to urban during the Industrial Revolution

Agricultural Revolution

                 • Growing different types of crops to
                           keep the land fertile
                 • The agricultural revolution led to the
                           industrial revolution because it
                           pushed for the changes in the
                           industries. In other words people
                           wanted a easier way to do things and
                           so the industrial revolution began.

                 • Textiles are anything
                       made of cloth such as

           • Louis Pasteur was a French chemist and Microbiologist
           • He created pasteurization which killed bacteria in milk
                 and made milk safer to drink

         • Edison invented lots of
               things including talking
               dolls, phonograph, and
               electric lights

         • Had 1,093 patents in the
               U.S. alone

         • Many of life's failures are
               people who did not realize
               how close they were to
               success when they gave

              arts and literature that originated in
              the late 18th century, emphasizing
              inspiration, subjectivity, and the
              primacy of the individual
       • Charles Dickens and Mary Shelly
              were writers during that time period
       • It arose as a reaction to the
              Enlightenment and the French
              Revolution
