Project Idea: The students will demonstrate an understanding of
accurate character traits and provide evidence to support.
Driving Question: What are character traits? How are the character
traits of your favorite fictional comic character the same or
different in comparison to the narrator of “Eleven”?
Content and skills standards: Reading 3.2 Analyze the effect of the
qualities of the character on the plot and the resolution of the
conflict.

Group: Each group will create a Prezi presentation to
demonstrate their knowledge of character traits.
Activities:
1. The students are placed into groups based on interests.
2. The students will (TSW) choose comic book character.
3. TSW discuss and choose character traits.
4. TSW choose evidence to support character trait.
5. TSW create a thinking map to organize information
(draft).
