Workshop Goals
To provide participants with the information resources pertinent to their subject area of focus
To enable participates to select, locate, access, retrieve, evaluate, organize, and preserve information
To provide hands-on practice with a variety of database search interfaces and management tools

Digital archives:
preserve and provide access to the electronic archival records
comprise of digitized images of historical records ranging from paper-based materials to analog media
have records that are born-digitally
designed with the user in mind
increase access to special collections!
