    • Why do I design? I design because I love thenotion of presenting strong, lasting ideas throughstatic imagery and text.As a graphic designer my goal is to provide clearand concise ideas to people in a manner that isnot only appropriate, but also enjoyable andstimulating. Ultimately, I strive to ensure that theaudience understands the visual message beingpresented and leaves with a lasting impression ofwhat they have seen.
    • Baskerville, Masters of Typography Series, 2011, digital print, 18 x 24
    • Constructivist Exhibition Catalog, 2011, digital print, 8 1/2 x 11
    • Eurydice Theatre Poster, 2012, digital print, 11 x 17
    • My work has been heavily influenced by theposter work of the prestigious Saul Bass. SaulBass was an innovative graphic designer who isfamous for the bold, minimalist style he utilized indesigning movie posters. As such, I am exploring the idea of minimalism inmy design by relying less on imagery andfocusing on bold colors and typography. In thismanner, I hope to present the audience with avisual message that is accessible andmemorable.

    • UTEP Department of Theatre & Dance Trifold Brochure, 2012, digital print, 4 x 9
    • In the future I hope to continue my graphic designcareer by challenging myself to work in a mannersimilar to what I have done with my TheatreBrochure; designing work that features minimalimagery and places emphasis on bold colors andprecise typography.
