  • Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband Coalition Conference May 23, 2012
  • Utah Broadband Project Purpose To develop a statewide map of availablebroadband services and a plan to increasebroadband adoption anddeployment in the state.
  • Utah Broadband Advisory Council MissionTo examine the condition of broadband adoption and deployment in the State of Utah and toprovide the Governor and Legislature with recommendations andpolicy guidance related to the findings of the Advisory Council. To be released June 19
  • Application of Mapping for Planning Purposes:Mobile LibrariesWorked with the State Librarian andher staff to gather data about wirelessbroadband availability at mobilelibrary stops throughout the state Mobile Libraries provide public library service to people in much of rural Utah who do not have access to a "brick and mortar" library including service to institutions such as schools, Head Start programs, and senior citizen centers.
  • For its May 2012 Broadband Map of the Application of Mapping for Planning Purposes: Month series, the Utah Broadband Project used a few of Utah’s rich geographic data FCC Mobility Fund Eligibility Prioritization resources to take a more detailed look at the Mobility Fund Eligible Areas.
