Ursula Mannix, President & CEO


My name is Ursula Mannix, I am the president and CEO of MANNIX ASSOCIATES. I have
dedicated my career to serving others. My associates and I help small/midsized companies,
individuals and not-for-profits enhance balance, flexibility and effectiveness.

At MANNIX ASSOCIATES, we are committed to providing uncommon and highly effective
learning and performance training interventions to enable improved business and employee
performance.

We have created learning and performance training interventions that are designed to focus on
key knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for employees at all level of expertise.

Our courses are held in groups of between five and twenty participants. Each participant is
encouraged to network, share experiences and discuss how the current subject matter applies
on the job and within the wider context of their respective companies.

We believe in providing highest value to any course or development activity we offer. All
training courses are evaluated throughout and post course and results are meticulously
analyzed to identify improvements to course content and instructor delivery.

It is also our belief that transfer of learning should create sustainable behavioral change back in
the workplace. Participants are encouraged to create their own action plan of work related
actions from each learning event and we will support them through further coaching or advice
on their development.

Customized learning & Performance Intervention Offerings

Companies today must grapple with the need to stay competitive, serve customers and address
skills gaps. We are also sensitive to the fact that people success consists of aligning your

How Do We Do It?

As quality improvement learning and performance consultants, we work with our clients to
build a relationship that allows both parties to develop a mutual understanding of each
other. We help small/midsize companies, individuals and not-for-profits improve quality of
their systems of production and service. We do not put out fires.

Step One

Establish contact with learners and/or the client requesting a training event. The purpose for
the initial contact is to establish the learning needs, requirements and expectations.

Step Two

Determine resources, budgeting, logistics, participants, materials and evaluation processes.

Step Three

The design and redesign of specific learning activities, methods, techniques and sequences to
be implement as a response to emerging needs.

Step Four

Our specific learning interventions are taken to introduce tools or a concept, to give instruction
for an activity, to offer feedback and to foster reflection.

Step Five

Evaluation and debriefing to assess achievement of expected training outcomes and learning
goals.

Diversity & Inclusion New Direction



Diversity training in its present form has not achieved the objective of greater workplace
productivity and innovation, minority representation at senior levels or improved end user
outcomes. The challenge to be met is identifying strategies and tactics that make a sustainable
difference.

Who should attend?

New and veteran police officers, change agents, and supervisors.

Duration: 2 day

Course Objective

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

      Identify the end users experience of your organization’s services.
      Recognize processes and systems that impact the end user.
      Identify strategies that integrate diversity within the organization’s culture.

Beyond Motivation and Teambuilding


Organizational leaders regularly ask: "How do we engage direct reports to work according to
their potential and execute needed changes. This course will help you develop team skills and
leadership skills.

Who should attend?

Experience or recently promoted mangers, team leaders and supervisors who lead a team(s) of
people.

Professional Receptionist Skills


Your receptionist is the first contact for your customers and first impressions will influence
customer satisfaction. A customer service savvy receptionist is crucial for the success of any
organization therefore it is paramount that the receptionist creates the right impression.

Who should attend?

Just hired receptionist and also experienced receptionist who are looking to update their skills

Duration: 1 day

Course Objective

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

      Understand the communication process and the importance of building rapport
      Understand how to handle complaints effectively
      Demonstrate good listening and questioning skills
      Understand the importance of types of communication and how to demonstrate in
       practice in a one on one situation

Terms



Payment

Full payment must be made 14 days prior to the first day of the course. Participants will not be
allowed to attend the courses unless full payment has been received. An invoice will be issued
upon receipt of full payment. We accept payment by Paypal.

Cancellations

Cancellations received 15 days or more before the start of the course will incur a fee of 25% of
the full course fee.
Cancellation received 10-14 days before the start of the course will incur a cancellation fee of
50% of the full course fee.
Cancellation received 0-9 days before the start of the course will incur a cancellation fee of
100% of the full course fees.
All cancellations must be given in writing by fax or email.
