Created as part of a collaborative process between FAO and UNDP through the Integrating Agriculture in National Adaptation Plans (NAP-Ag) Programme, peer-to-peer exchanges are being organized worldwide to foster learning and partnership, share best practices and new technologies, and effectively link cross-cutting sectors to the national adaptation planning process. In a recent March meeting in the Philippines, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Climate Resilience Network, in cooperation with the Government of the Phiilippines, and the UNDP-FAO NAP-Ag Programme, brought together key stakeholders to establish an ongoing regional academy focused on climate services for agriculture, and share best practices on the capture, packaging and dissemination of relevant climate and weather information.
