Project needs Project details
To develop a GIS based national infrastructure
system ( LandNet) for Singapore Land Authority
to enable government and private agencies for
an on-line exchange and access to
heterogeneous land data.
• Extract, Migrate and store shareable data from the
agencies (GIS and CAD formats) to the Oracle
spatial DBMS.
• Ensured extracted and exported GIS data from the
Oracle Spatial DBMS will maintain all topology
information of the respective GIS data formats.
• Land Net admin module was developed using
ArcGIS, J2EE
• Government agencies & private companies
will use the LandNet data for their operations
• Land Net is the central hub of land

points available by clicking on wireless hotspot
points (Wireless@SG).
Wireless@SG Coverage Map is a free service
that allows users to search Wireless@SG
coverage areas and to locate them on a map.
Using the search keys, the users need to find
the nearest Wireless@SG hotzones and
hotspots in the vicinity of the users destination
or current location.

Monitoring System to monitor the project progress of
road construction work via. Web

The GIS application for viewing spatial data is
developed using ESRI’s standard Arc IMS enterprise
product and PostgreSQL an open GIS database
software for the backend database. The user
interface page was designed using Java script.
The users can access the application using any
HTML or Java browsers. The application developed
is based on n-tier architecture.
• Project Progress monitoring access at any where
• Option to upload the project progress details in
the (.MPP) format to PostgreSQL DB
• Dynamic segmentation of the linear features and
showing the project progress of these segments
with different colors representing the percentage
of completion of the work with regard to the
segment
• Facility to attach ground photographs to spatial

Development of a web based Decision support
system for providing earlier warnings to the
community in case of emergencies. The system
should have the facilities to register the incident by
drawing a polygon on a GIS map, modify the incident
details and initiate the call out to the people within
the polygon.
The web based application was developed using
ESRI ArcGIS Server. The web user draws the
polygon of the affected area and registers the
incident. The adminstration user can extract the
details of the people to be notified from the data
base.
