files in t he “Info”, “Apps”, “Music”,

drive by plugging a USB cable int o your

Synchronization

make sure you disable any aut omat ic
synchronizat ion t hat you may have set
up. This will avoid any informat ion being
t ransmit t ed aft er you have backed it up
creat ing a gap in t he dat a. This includes
any services you may have subscribed
t o t hat link direct ly t o your unique
device.
3. Wipe the device
To wipe an iOS gadget:
Go t o Set t ings>>General>>Reset .
Tap Erase All Co nt ent and Set t ings
and t hen push t he ominous red Erase
but t on. Depending on your device t his
could t ake a few minut es or a few

reset ". You'll get a warning screen
along wit h a list of all t he account s you
are current ly signed int o.
