EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
NAVAL COMMANDO DUTIES
SG (N) 0fficer
Remained an active member of SSG and participated in all SSG (N) activities/operations.
Performed VIP escort duties, acted as conducting officer of several delegations and
supervised their security needs. Supervised security of important official functions
attended by large number of VIPs and government official and delegations. Trained large
number of SSG (N) personnel. Participated in several war and multi-national exercises.
NAVAL COMMANDO DUTIES
OC Bomb disposal Section and OC PN Diving School
Established Bomb Disposal set up in Pakistan Navy. Procured BD equipment from
Richmond UK and coordinated international level training of the BD team. Prepared
SOPs for safe conduct of BD operations and revised training syllabi according to threat
perception. Deployed Bomb Disposal Team for SPO (Ships Protection Exercises) and
EPO (Establishment Protection Exercises) to develop personnel for safe guarding the
units from terrorists’ threat under various threat levels. Provided BD assistance to
Karachi City District Government through direct liaison with IG Sind and DIG
(Operations). Physically supervised many BD operations, major operations undertaken
were as under,
 Recovery/disposal of huge amount of explosive, Bombs and IEDs from
Mahmudabad, Karachi.
 Investigation of Bomb Blast in Haidri and Ali Raza Mosques at Karachi.
 Supervision of BD operation during American Culture Centre Blasts at Karachi.
 Clearance/disposal of 700 Ltrs Liquid explosive placed in GRP tank in Suzuki Hi-
roof near American Consulate at Karachi.
 Disposal of IEDs in shape of parcel bombs mailed to kill senior police officers.
 Investigation of Bomb Blast at Gawadar.
 Supervision of BD team during VIP movement and IDEAs.
NHQ AND PROVOST DUTIES
Staff Officer Provost Duties at NHQ and OC Regulating& Provost School
Got approval of an independent Provost and Discipline Directorate and reorganized
training & field set up. Improved coordination with Air HQs, GHQ and Police
Authorities relating to provost matters and training of personnel. Revised training scheme
of all categories. Introduced VIP escorts, Bomb/IEDs clearance procedures, unarmed
combat and weapon/explosive handling techniques. Recommended shifting of Provost
School in Naval Provost unit and establishment of Mechanical Transport (MT) School at
Mauripur Karachi.
FRIGATE SQUADRON AND TACTICAL SCHOOL
Principle Warfare Officer (Under Water Warfare) and DS (Under Water Warfare)
Performed the duties of PWO (UW), Explosive Accounting and Security officer of the
frigate squadron. Supervised the safe custody of Torpedo and Explosive magazine and
safe handling of explosive material. Trained fleet as to how guard the ships and
instillations from terrorists/saboteurs. Assisted harbor defense organization on provision
of security cover to ships at Karachi port. Conducted fleet unit and command team
evaluation on Action Speed Tactical Trainer (ASTT) at Pakistan Navy Tactical School.
PAKISTAN NAVY RECRUITMENT CENTRE RAWALPINDI
Officer in Charge PNR&SC
As OiC PNR&SC Rawalpindi, conducted selection and recruitment of large number of
Graduate, PN Cadets, Sailors and Civilian staff of Pakistan Navy. In order to provide
desirable manpower to PN, visited and delivered motivation lectures at far-flung areas
which helped in raising academic grade for induction in PN. Recommended new
procedure for recruitment to NHQ, which was taken into account and being followed till
to date.
DYNAMIC SECURITY (Pvt) ISLAMABAD
GM Dynamic Security
Performed the duties of GM Dynamic Security agency for one year. Coordinated with
Warid/Ufone/mobilink for security cover at different sites. Also provided security
services to Islamabad based organizations.
PKISTAN WETLANDS PROGRAMME
Scuba Diving Instructor & Security
Served in Pakistan Wetlands Programme as Diving Instructor and security manager to
look after the security aspect of the Programme. In order to show my hard work, I would
like to mention that I had discovered coral reefs along Makran coast, though it was
widely believed that Pakistan is a non coral country. This historical achievement was
given wide coverage in electronic/print media.
HQ COMNOR
SSO (Security and Intelligence)
Got re-employed in Pakistan Navy for two and half years (retired on 30 June2015) and
performed the duties of SSO (Security & Intelligence). During this tenure prepared
security plan & orders of NHQ and Naval Residential Complex and various S&CT SOPs.
Supervised security cover during VIP movement in the civil area involving own security
staff, police & LEAs, Medical Emergency services and intelligence set ups. Trained
Security & Counter terrorism and emergency response teams to neutralize terrorist attack
in effective manner through crisis management Cell.

Prepared SOPs for safe conduct of BD operations and revised training syllabi according to threat perception. Deployed Bomb Disposal Team for SPO (Ships Protection Exercises) and EPO (Establishment Protection Exercises) to develop personnel for safe guarding the units from terrorists’ threat under various threat levels. Provided BD assistance to Karachi City District Government through direct liaison with IG Sind and DIG (Operations). Physically supervised many BD operations, major operations undertaken were as under,  Recovery/disposal of huge amount of explosive, Bombs and IEDs from Mahmudabad, Karachi.  Investigation of Bomb Blast in Haidri and Ali Raza Mosques at Karachi.  Supervision of BD operation during American Culture Centre Blasts at Karachi.  Clearance/disposal of 700 Ltrs Liquid explosive placed in GRP tank in Suzuki Hi- roof near American Consulate at Karachi.  Disposal of IEDs in shape of parcel bombs mailed to kill senior police officers.  Investigation of Bomb Blast at Gawadar.  Supervision of BD team during VIP movement and IDEAs. NHQ AND PROVOST DUTIES Staff Officer Provost Duties at NHQ and OC Regulating& Provost School Got approval of an independent Provost and Discipline Directorate and reorganized training & field set up. Improved coordination with Air HQs, GHQ and Police Authorities relating to provost matters and training of personnel. Revised training scheme of all categories. Introduced VIP escorts, Bomb/IEDs clearance procedures, unarmed combat and weapon/explosive handling techniques. Recommended shifting of Provost School in Naval Provost unit and establishment of Mechanical Transport (MT) School at Mauripur Karachi. FRIGATE SQUADRON AND TACTICAL SCHOOL Principle Warfare Officer (Under Water Warfare) and DS (Under Water Warfare) Performed the duties of PWO (UW), Explosive Accounting and Security officer of the frigate squadron. Supervised the safe custody of Torpedo and Explosive magazine and safe handling of explosive material. Trained fleet as to how guard the ships and instillations from terrorists/saboteurs. PAKISTAN NAVY RECRUITMENT CENTRE RAWALPINDI Officer in Charge PNR&SC As OiC PNR&SC Rawalpindi, conducted selection and recruitment of large number of Graduate, PN Cadets, Sailors and Civilian staff of Pakistan Navy. In order to provide desirable manpower to PN, visited and delivered motivation lectures at far-flung areas which helped in raising academic grade for induction in PN. Recommended new procedure for recruitment to NHQ, which was taken into account and being followed till to date. DYNAMIC SECURITY (Pvt) ISLAMABAD GM Dynamic Security Performed the duties of GM Dynamic Security agency for one year. Coordinated with Warid/Ufone/mobilink for security cover at different sites. Also provided security services to Islamabad based organizations. PKISTAN WETLANDS PROGRAMME Scuba Diving Instructor & Security Served in Pakistan Wetlands Programme as Diving Instructor and security manager to look after the security aspect of the Programme. In order to show my hard work, I would like to mention that I had discovered coral reefs along Makran coast, though it was widely believed that Pakistan is a non coral country. This historical achievement was given wide coverage in electronic/print media. HQ COMNOR SSO (Security and Intelligence) Got re-employed in Pakistan Navy for two and half years (retired on 30 June2015) and performed the duties of SSO (Security & Intelligence). During this tenure prepared security plan & orders of NHQ and Naval Residential Complex and various S&CT SOPs. Supervised security cover during VIP movement in the civil area involving own security staff, police & LEAs, Medical Emergency services and intelligence set ups. Trained Security & Counter terrorism and emergency response teams to neutralize terrorist attack in effective manner through crisis management Cell.
