major spinal cord injury complications: UTI, pseudomonas, diabetes, deep vein thrombosis and
heterotopic ossification. Summarized available information based on strength of evidence and
provided flow chart of regimens for each of the complications. Conducted extensive drug interaction
research and provided drug interaction table featuring C, D, X interactions among drugs used in
spinal cord injury patients to treat complications, pain andautonomic symptoms. Both the flowchart
of regimen and interaction table contributed to the research of Kentucky Appalachian Rural
Rehabilitation Network.
