To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to give my strongest personal
recommendation for Ms. Stefanie Nolan, who served as my Executive
Secretary while I was the Executive Officer of Center for Seabees and
Facilities Engineering (CSFE) and the Civil Engineer Corps Officers
School from April 2011 to May 2014. During this period, Ms. Nolan’s
support of the executive staff as well as her support to the entire
command was truly exceptional. Her intricate knowledge of operations
and procedures allowed her to be proactive and get ahead of challenges
before they became obstacles.
Ms. Nolan’s performance was remarkable, proving to be a vital
contributor to the command mission and an extension of the leadership.
Her command-wide focus made certain all efforts were aligned and when
they were not, she swiftly intervened to bring awareness to the
situation. She was undoubtedly a team oriented individual who took
great pride in the successes of the command rather than her individual
accomplishments.
Some of her key attributes include her organizational abilities,
aggressive pursuit of assigned tasks, and comprehension of mission
impacts. She influenced multiple operational lines of support that
ranged from travel authorizations to administrative process
improvements. Whether it was in the scope of her job assignment or
not, she was always dedicated to do things smarter and more cost
effective. If she encountered something that just didn’t feel right,
she relied on her experience to take the proper steps to bring the
issue to light, making recommendations for improvement.
Ms. Nolan earned my respect as well as the respect of her co-
workers. Without hesitation, I would recommend Ms. Nolan to any
prospective employer. She will bring passion, an infectious positive
attitude, and a strong work ethic every day, making her a tremendous
asset to any organization.
If you have any questions regarding Ms. Nolan’s past performance
or potential, please feel free to contact me at
