• Antimicrobial Textiles
HaloSource products are founded on two core technologies:
• Synthetic polymer (N-halamine)
• Natural biopolymers
What is HaloPure®?
HaloPure is the most unique and revolutionary drinking water
disinfection technology to come about in more than 15 years.
HaloPure is a novel, non-electric contact biocide manufactured in the
form of insoluble beads that kill viruses and bacteria on contact.
HaloPure is integrated into a wide variety of household point-of-use
water devices.
Disinfection is achieved without compromising taste, odor, or appearance
How HaloPure® is used:
We engineer a customized solution for your
needs
This solution is typically a cartridge or sub-
component filled with HaloPure media
The exact design characteristics of the cartridge are
specifically engineered to allow you to meet your
performance goals and claims

Editor's Notes

 1. HS is a company focused on improving the quality of water in a range of business segments;1) HaloPure – The disinfection of drinking water at the point of use, in households around the world2) HaloShield - Safe drinking water chemistry lends itself to deployment of HS antimicrobial technology in novel textiles for consumer use. In the USA, this product is applied to textiles being sold nationally into 20,000 Wal-Mart and Target stores.3) Sea Klear – The clarification and safety of recreational water (pool and spa market), mostly domestically, some international markets4) Storm Klear – Storm and Industrial water management, focused on complying with discharge requirements into natural bodies of water under the US clean water act
 2. Commonly used materials in water filtration devices. We want to highlight that these are only effective against organics, tastes, metals, and cyst/parasites. They have only some effect on bacteria killing, and no effect on virus killing. So using these devices on their own where the input water if filled with bacteria and viruses does NOT offer true microbiological purification. Adding a HaloPure cartridge downstream of this treatment train will give you truly safe drinking water because HaloPure kills bacteria and viruses ON CONTACT.
 3. We’ve developed greater clarity around the true strategic value of HaloPure technology which has required us to challenge assumptions and revise positioning as we engage with potential partners. We can solve microbiological issues is very simple sand/sediment filters. We can turn ceramic canisters from ‘filters’ into “purifiers”We complement the organic & inorganic claims of carbon by adding bacteria and virus killWe blow other resin-based technologies out of the water – literally….We’re a fail-safe back-up for high-end UV systems….And, HaloPure offers the solution to the nasty recontamination problems of HPC bacteria in the storage tanks of RO systems. We’re game-changing, some would say we’re even disruptive…..and our time is NOW!
