Population African people live in small villages and big cities. Africa has a young population. More than 1 billion people live in Africa.
People and Customs South Africa has mixed race people . There are many different races. There are not enough schools for everyone. Many schools are out doors. Village ceremonies are an important part of the country. They celebrate the events in the farm.
Wildlife Lots of different animals live in Africa. Some animals are: lions, giraffes, monkeys and buffalo. Some of them eat meat and some of them eat leaves.
Resources Africa has lots of diamonds  and gold there are in lots of shapes and sizes. Africa also grows coffee , cotton , peanuts and cocoa beans and sell them to other places. Crops of wheat , dates and cotton are well grown in Africa.
Fun Facts The Nile is the biggest river in the world. Many people live close to the river so they can get water for the farm easily. In Africa they use camels so they can transport easily.
history 2 million years ago people lived there life collecting wild plant’s. There were many wars fought in Africa. They used spears , shields and bow and arrows .
