EPIDEMIOLOGIA La organización mundial de la salud (OMS) señala que un tercio de la población mundial esta infectada por M. tuberculosis; cada año ocurre 8 millones de casos nuevos y tres millones de funciones por TBC. Clasificándola como una enfermedad re emergente y en algunas regiones del mundo considerándole una enfermedad persistente.
