TARGET AUDIENCE
The audience for the BWBB represents a diverse cross-section of race, gender, sexual
orientation, class & age. The target population are 18-65 year olds with literary and
artistic interests.
MARKETING & PROMOTION
The BWBB uses its website for logistical operations, to provide event information,
vendor registration and email subscriptions for event reminders. The website is
maintained and updated daily. The BWBB utilizes print media, radio advertisements,
social networking sites, word of mouth and shares email lists of other Queens literary
organizations reaching over 5000 people weekly & over 20,000 people monthly.
PROJECT EVALUATION
The event assesses audience size, diversity & number of vendors.
* Year 1 - 65 vendors & 1200 visitors
* Year 2 - 90 vendors & 1200-1500 visitors
* Year 3 - 100 vendors & 2000 visitors
Our goal this year is to host over 175 artists & 5000-6000 visitors.

The O/C is an artist and an author with over 10 years experience organizing and curating artistic events; 2) a Website Consultant who is responsible for website hosting, information architecture, file hosting and creative problem solving. The WC has over 12 years experience as a web designer and website consultant; 3) a Program Director who advises on marketing and development for the project, helps coordinate scheduling and executes administrative tasks. The PD is also responsible for liaising with poets, artists, and local venues regarding coordinated events. All other personnel will be volunteers working at the event.
