BFW – 400
(Slump Retention Type Superplasticizer)
Introduction
BFW – 400 is an acrylic acid type polycarboxylate based superplasticizer, which can display high
Dispersion performance and slump retention time due to steric and electrostatic repulsion effects,
which are part of polymer structures.
In addition, its excellent dispersion Retention time makes it possible to Transport long
distance, adjust hardening Time, and manufacture excellent quality concrete suitable for
construction sites.
Advantages
1. Prevents slump loss of high strength concrete.
2. Reduces the quantity of cement used and bleeding.
3. Improves workability.
4. Decreases heat of hydration and makes it possible to adjust cement setting and harding time
5. Makes it possible to transport long distances for a long period of time.
Suitable for ready-mix concrete.
Applications
1. Bridges, high buildings and structures that require durability and high strength.
2. SOC structures including LNG bases, high/subways, construction and tunnels.
3. Concrete with high contents of fly ash, blast furnace slag or silica fume.
4. Manufacture of prefabricated, precast and prestressed concrete.
5. Manufacture of self-leveling concrete.
