3. Usability
The extent to which a product can be used by specified
users to achieve specified goals with effectiveness,
efficiency and satisfaction in a specified context of use.
4. E-government usability
since 1990s with U.S government
Usability.gov (the official U.S. Government website
managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services).
5. Usability problems
Usability problem is:
any aspect of the user interface which might create difficulties to the user with
respect to an important usability indicator (such as: ease to understanding, ease
of learning, ease of use, and subjective user satisfaction).
Examples:
Window stop the user from complete next phase critical problem
Bad navigation and poor feedback are minor problems
Screen layout and lack of colors can be cosmetic problems.

Think-aloud strategy
• encourage the participant to share his or her thoughts
with you while working with the product.
