• Designed and delivered political strategy for a major national public body overseeing seismic constitutional
changes, prepared the Chair to be ‘grilled’ by MPs as part of a major inquiry, ensured c.300 Parliamentary
Questions and letters were answered promptly and deepened working links with potential partners.

- The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs), July 12 - June 13 (Led a team of 3).
- The Association of Police Authorities (APA), Jan 10 - July 12 (Solo - worked directly to CEO).
• Devised, directed and delivered the APA’s first ever proactive public affairs and external communications
strategy and outreach programmes (including instigating new digital channels, devising events,
commissioning research and publications, and securing broadcast opportunities and front page coverage)
• Author and editor of company websites and social media channels, daily news alerts and internal bulletins
• Wrote the Chair’s speeches and corporate briefings for the press and Parliamentarians
• Advised the Home Office and other statutory agencies and coordinated partners’ media programming

Inquiry, briefed media on complex issues (often amidst crisis), secured PCCs’ profile on national outlets

• Briefed the Mayor and organized his visits. Strengthened links between the GLA and 33 boroughs.
Achievements: Developed the first Mayoral newsletter to Councillors. Wrote speeches for the Mayor.
