      • Interaction among members of a writing group stimulates creativity
      • Interaction stimulates scientific insight.

      • Problem of scheduling
      • Communication problem
      • Conflicting opinions
      • As a result of unprofessionalism on the part of a member the work may suffer.
    6. Steps for Efficient Collaborative Writing
      • List research and writing tasks for project completion.
      • Determine tasks dependent on completion of other tasks.
      • Establish a realistic schedule to complete the document.
      • Assign tasks to individual members of the group.
      • Develop a style guide to ensure a consistent format and style.
      • Determine procedures and responsibilities for the document's production and final electronic form.
