• 2. Finding Part of a Whole IS over OF IS and Number -> Numerator OF and Number -> Denominator Find 65% of 245 1) turn the percentage into a fraction 2) make a proportion 3) cross product 65 100 = 245 x (65)(245) = (x)(100) -> 15,925 = (x)(100) -> x = 159.25
