In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms or conventions of real media products? -Including a narrative in a genre that is dominantly performance based, it shows that the singer is tired of her partner and there is a lot of green screen just by herself to show that she is independent -Singer looked Classy and professional like an RnB artist with sophisticated clothes And some jewellery such as earrings and necklace. -Its a song about a break up and ‘no more complaining’ unlike normal RnB music videos that sing love songs -There is a scene at a bus stop ( to show what the guy has reduced to, he doesn't meet the girl at a restaurant but he meets her at a bus stop) which is not normally in RnB music videos -A lot of public places are used (park, bus stop, street..etc instead of a beach/desert so the audience can relate to the artist if they live in that environment -The music video develops the Feminist theory because the artist is sick and tired of her partner who cheats on her and she leaves him in the end and walks into the sunset which shows she is happy Mila J- No More Complaining Music video Developed the conventions of Rnb Music video Challenged the conventions of RnB Music video -Used black and white aesthetic to signal a flashback -Used green screen (white background) -Used variety of close ups, mid shots, long shots -Artist singing to the camera Used similar conventions as a RnB music video.
