Information Technology (i.e., computers, internet, etc.) Can Be Integrated into the Instructional Process and Curriculum
I believe that students do require implicit classroom management instruction and modeling at the beginning of the school year, which requires consistency by
the teacher to create a well organized classroom, as well as respectable acceptable behaviors for students. Morning meetings are one way that a teacher can
promote student unity and classroom management while learning. I am a big supporter of this type of classroom learning activity. I feel if you have a
classroom community to encourage acceptance for all students, learning will naturally flourish. I feel that students require an engaging, differentiated learning
environment. This allows all students to advance and learn within their particular educational endeavors. It also allows students choices within their learning,
which makes students responsible in regards to their individual learning, with providing a vested interest for all students. In today’s classroom, there is an
extreme variety of student levels and interest, and differentiation is the key to meeting all student needs and desires. Although, this type of instruction does
take some additional thought and preparation, in the long-term view it will help save on additional instructional time, as well as management issues. In
regards to school-wide atmosphere, school rules need to automatically be integrated into classroom rules; this will help address all management issues.
Another issue is how I am positively portraying the school as a whole and as a classroom community, this defiantly sets a positive tone for learning.
