2. EXTREME/ESTABLISHING LONG SHOT
An extreme long shot is a wide space of
area which places a person in the far
distance. The distance of the person or
object is so far away that you are almost
unable to see the object. This shot is
also used to establish the setting of the
scene in a film.
3. LONG SHOT
A long shot is a picture of someone
or an object from head to toe. The
long shot is used to display the
body language of that character.
4. HIGH ANGLE SHOT
A high angle shot is a shot that I taken
from a high area which can look down
onto the person or object. In films and TV
programmes high angle shots are often
used to make a person look inferior to
when compared to another object or
person.
5. LOW ANGLE SHOT
A low angle shot is a shot that is taken
from a lower position, in films and TV
programmes a low angle shot is used to
make a person or object look superior
compared to another object or person.
6. 2 SHOT
A 2 shot is when there is two people in
one shot, this normally displays a
conversation between two people.
7. POINT OF VIEW SHOT
A point of view shot is a shot that is
taken from a persons point of view, it
allows you to see what the person is
seeing.
8. OVER THE SHOULDER SHOT
An over the shoulder shot is a
shot taken from over a persons
shoulder, this shot is used to
display what the person in the
scene it is also used to show
what the person can see in front
of them aswell.
9. CLOSE UP
A close up is when the camera
is focused on one person and
zooms in on their face. Close
ups are used to help the
audience identify the emotions
that that person is feeling.
