Modern Studies at a Modern
University
SWPS is a modern center for research and learning. It offers interdis-
ciplinary degree programs in humanities in Warsaw, Wrocław, Sopot,
Katowice and Poznań. Since it was established over 15 years ago,
SWPS has become one of the most important and highly regarded
Psychology centers in Poland. SWPS has a tradition of organizing
regular scientific, popular and cultural events. The school has had
the pleasure of hosting many renowned scientists, famous artists
and media personalities. As a socially responsible institution, SWPS
supports the development of art and culture with its regular ‘High
Voltage Culture’ events.

SWPS has the right to award PhD degrees in Psychology, Law, Cultur-
al Studies and Sociology. It also has the right to award post-doctoral
titles to PhD degree holders in the fields of Psychology and Cultural

Poland lies in Central Europe and can be easily reached from every
part of the globe, not least from its neighboring countries: Germany,
the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Belarus, Russia or Ukraine.
