  2. Key points – -CP most common for biomedical reasons -many/most don’t survive -vast majority don’t go to school – and those who do quality is poor -up to 50% with significant communication difficulties -many can’t get to school
  3. Social acceptance – stigma gone – and also they want them to walk and talk, because they see it as the only way to get some of above – no other positive examples or options
