14. Strategies to Provide Livelihood
Support
• Pre home visit was done for each survivors.
• Meeting with Family members.
• We never provided any cash amount.
• We made a deed of agreement as this is non
transferable property.
• We provided 3 months salary while starting
the new business.

• The model of engaging in an alternative
occupation after a large trauma worked fabulously
• Engaging in a relevant training, proper livelihood
support provides them a solid foundation to come
out the stress
• Nobody was eager to return to the readymade
garment factory initially, but fortunately some of
them now joined in garment factory
