Project: Ring Fencing Bank, UK
Role: SIT Test Manager
Objective: Ring Fencing Bank is a regulation passed by UK Government. Under this reform, all
major Banks has to ring fence Retail Banking as a separate Entity. HSBC is targeted to implement this
reform by 1st quarter of 2018. As a part of this project, IT has 2 work streams and they are Sort
Code Migration and Logical Separation.
Under Sort Code Migration, we have to assign new Sort Code to RFB Accounts and migrate all the RFB
accounts based on the Criteria defined by the Business to identify the RFB Accounts.
Under Logical Separation, IT has to logical separate Core Banking System in to two Entities. RFB and
Non RFB Entity. All RFB Accounts will be under RFB Entity. During this exercise, we need to replicate
the products which are to present in RFB and NRFB. All Banking Reports should be split as a part of
this development.

Role: SIT Test Manager
Objective: This is Core Banking product for HSBC Group which will be functionally Rich, Simple,
24X7, efficient and cost saving to the Bank. This product supports Control Set up and account
processing for all type of Demand Deposits (Savings, Current, Term Deposit, Multi Currency Product,
Overdraft, Bundled/Packaged Product and Operational Accounts)
Project: HUB Gold Suite 07 Implementation for Qatar
Objective:HSBC Qatar is upgrading the system from HUB Core 8 to HUB Gold Suite 07. Business is
running regression test on all systems under Direct Channels, Staff Channels, Trade Systems,
Payment and Cash Management etc.,

Objective: GPP includes links to most major clearing, settlement systems and messaging systems
throughout the world, which are already built, tested, and ready for implementation. Automated
processing of payment messages increases speed and capacity with greater efficiency and less re -
keying, especially on linking with local ACH in various countries.
 Integrated with Treasury's GET RATE engine for real time exchange rate if required.
 Centralization of monitoring and control
 Faster funds/clearing processing with a centralized payment system, which provides a strong
proposition for remitting the funds across the world on the same day, by passing accounting
entries.
