How to Make Money Blogging: That Cloudy Day in March…
One cloudy day in March, as I sat there in front of that black Dell desktop computer screen, I got that
sinking feeling in my gut.
I couldn’t take it anymore.
See, I had recently signed up with Clickbank, and started writing about products that I didn’t own, didn’t
want to own, and really couldn’t care less about.
It was early 2009, and I was doing it the hard way (or, I was trying to).
I had decided to try and make money online by blogging.
Needless to say, I didn’t last long. I quit blogging…
…and I never made a cent.
Now, I’m not bashing Clickbank, or throwing Clickbank promoters onto the train tracks.
But, what I’m saying is, there are any numbers of hard ways to try and make money online;
--but there’s only one way to do it easily.
Here’s what I do; bear with me on this, because I’ll explain why this is different from what I used to do at
the end of this article.
2. Blog daily
What could be simpler? I’ve been blogging steadily over the last six months.
For that matter, what other business would allow you to make money just being yourself? You do need
to do a little keyword research, and create some meaningful content; and, of course, people who are
searching for that keyword should get some value out of it.
But, most importantly, you should use that platform to tell your story—whatever it is. There are oceans
of repetitive content out there about whatever it is you’re selling; what’s really going to make you stand
out, is…you! Be yourself, don’t care what anybody else thinks of you, and become a great story-teller.
People who can relate to something(s) you’ve gone through will be far more interested in what you’re
doing, business-wise, than if you just pump out the run-of-the-mill promotional garbage that most
everybody else does.
3. Tell others
SEO is important, but ask yourself: “whom am I trying to please?” Are you writing to attract like-minded
people, or make search engines happy? Personally, I’m sick of trying to please search engines. They’re
constantly changing their algorithms, anyway, thanks to all the rotten spammers out there.
Instead, create great content on your blog;syndicate it across the web without spamming.
If you’re social, you can also go where people hang out online. Make friends; commiserate with them;
celebrate with them; be genuine! Write for them, not for yourself. Have a genuine desire to help those
people, attract them to your content, and you’ll be amazed with the results.
(Admittedly, this perspective comes from someone who is a network marketing affiliate; you may want
or need to alter this strategy for your own online business.)
4. Get money
Don’t settle for itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny commissions.
Demand 100% commissions.
Why put all that effort into blogging daily and telling others about it, if you only get part of the sale?

P.S.
Here’s the answer to two questions you might have, by now:
“What made you start blogging again?” and “Who in their right mind pays 100% commissions?!”
A company that over 72,000 people have done business with over the last year.
A company that has paid out over $20 million in commissions over the last year.
A company that can empower you to earn 100% commissions, too--if you just blog daily and tell others.
