3. George F. Steele, Jr. has been a cornerstone in the
Construction Industry for many decades. George
started as a Regional Superintendant for Ralph
Squires Homes in the 1980s spanning in territories
from Charlotte, NC to Charleston, SC. George
benchmarked the construction industry when he
was noted for building over 200 homes, from start
to finish, in 180 days. George founded his own
company, Homes by George Steele in 1987. He
rapidly excelled to the top where he became the
Union County President of the Home Builder’s
Association for two terms running as well as
Builder of the Year multiple times during the
1990s. His Reputation proceeds him everywhere he
goes for his undying Honest, extreme Professional
work Ethics and Quality of work. George Steele has
been the “Go-To” man in the Construction Industry
for many years. And why not? He set the bar

4. Trae Steele has followed George’s footsteps, as
father and son teams often do. Growing up in
the Construction Industry with his father being
the leading man has given him knowledge far
beyond his years that many would pay for. In
his entrepreneurship, Trae explored the
Construction Industry to find nobody does
Quality or holds the Respect that George does.
Trae is Certified in Civil Engineering with the
focus of Project Manager and Testing of
Materials. Trae wanted to start his own
company to keep the legend of the Steele name
in the game for decades to come with the same
on-going reputation. When Trae had the idea
to start his own company he thought who
would be a better partner than his father,
George? Trae believes Quality is Non-
negotiable because it’s all he’s ever known!
