Students will take a performance assessment to graph ordered pairs on a coordinate plane. The South side will have 35 minutes for their assessment involving four types of flowers. The North side will then have 20 minutes for their assessment involving three garden plants and flowers. Scoring is on a scale of 0 to 4 points based on accuracy of correctly identifying ordered pair locations.

1. Performance Assessment: Locating Ordered Pairs (Coordinate Points)
Instructions (do not type): Students will be given a performance assessment on how
accurately they graph ordered pairs in the four quadrants of the coordinate plane below.
First 35 minutes of class for South side. The last 20 minutes of class for the North side.
Scoring is as follows:
4 pts. Almost every ordered pair correctly identified
3 pts. Most ordered pair correctly identified
2 pts. Some ordered pair correctly identified
1 pts. Understands the concept of graphing ordered pair
0 pts. Does not understand the concept of graphing ordered pair
