The Job:

The Role
The main purpose of thisrole isto have responsibilityforpreparingandplanning,forbothtender
submissionsandcontracts,bothnewbuildand/orrefurbishmentworksinaccordance with
Companypolicy,proceduresandqualitystandards.Yourmainareasof responsibilitycanbe broken
downintothe followingfourareas.
• To ensure plansare deliveredinamannerwhichenhancesandmaintainsthe company’s
name and reputationforquality
• To ensure thatthe proceduresidentifiedinboththe healthandsafetypolicyandquality
manual are fullyimplemented.
• To ensure the completionof planswithinprogrammedtimeandthatclientexpectationsare
met
• To ensure profitable executionof work
• To representthe companyindealingwithclientsortheiragents,external andinternal
customer’sandprofessionalstaff inamannerthat enhancesthe company’sreputation
The ideal Plannerwill have anestablishedbackgroundinplanningandbe usedtodealingwithlow
and high-valuetenders.Youshouldwillbe qualifiedtoHNDor above and will have experienceof site
construction,constructionplanningandconstructionsite coordination.
Experience of usingGoogle SketchUp,AstaSoftware andMicrosoftProjectwithexcellentIT skills
wouldalsobe advantageousandcoupledwithknowledge of planningmethodology.
The ideal Plannerwill preferablybe fromabuildingbackgroundandhave aworkingknowledge of
currentlegislation,ApprovedCodesof Practice andindustrytrends,aswell asknowledge of Health
and SafetyandCDM regulationswouldbe advantageous.
