About
I'm a very accomplished editor, writer, and speaker. I excel at communicating clearly.
In 2005, I founded a consultancy called Libraries Are Essential. My niche is library marketing, promotion, and public relations. Most of my work today is in writing, training, consulting, speaking, and blogging on those topics.
Between 2005 and 2008, I partnered with a colleague to write a marketing communication plan for a state library and a marketing plan for a large (20-branch) public library system.
In 2009, I published a book called "The Accidental Library Marketer." It's an A-to-Z guide for library workers who need to do marketing and promotion, but have never learned how.
