Jen-Hsiang Chuang is Deputy Director-General at Centers for Disease Control in Taiwan (Taiwan CDC). Dr. Chuang, who was the Director of Epidemic Intelligence Center at Taiwan CDC, was responsible for monitoring both of the index- and event-based surveillance systems for communicable diseases at Taiwan CDC. Previously he was Associate Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Informatics, National Yang-Ming University (NYMU) in Taiwan. He earned his MD and MS in Epideiology from NYMU and received a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University in 2003.
