Dear Fellow Professional,
I start with a little bit about myself before I take you to the main topic. I have been lucky to be in the profession of IT Business Analysis after completing my Masters in Management from IIT Bombay way back in 1997. Believe me it looks to be yesterday, because this career journey has been more of fun, friendships, conversations, success and some work. Off-course like any other IT career it has been peppered with project challenges and once in 5 years big disappointments.
Somewhere in the middle of 2010, to pay back or to the community I started with a Business Analyst Training Programs. Till date more than 750 plus successful Business Analysts have been trained and coached by me several of them reaching VP, Sr VP level positions by now. Whether my student has achieved success effortlessly or after struggle one thing has been common that the person will get selected only when he explains is earlier completed projects with confidence.
To Succeed You Need to have a
Good Resume (For Shortlisting)
Perform Well In The Interview
Have sincerity & patience once you are on the job.
For points 1 & 2 invariably
Your resume will get shortlisted on the basis of your past experience as presented in your CV. Once your CV gets shortlisted you have to explain your past experience with confidence in relevant and crisp manner during the interview.
For both these steps your success or failure will depend on your ability to explain your earlier completed projects. I have seen more than many struggle to share this information in the CV and in the interview, leading to interview failures and delay in success which your rightfully deserve.
Being a Coach & Trainer, I do not succeed until you succeed so I have prepared this booklet where in you can do a 360 degree preparation on questions or information which can be put up-to you about your past projects during an interview. This document is now yours feel free to use it for self or distribute freely to any one concerned.
Believe me, if you do this home work success is with in your grasp.
Best of Luck
