This document provides a project proposal for a digital media final presentation titled "Represent Your Self". The proposal discusses researching different shoe cultures like hip hop, punk, and skinhead to show how shoes can represent personality and culture. Motion graphics, video, interviews and location research in Kuala Lumpur are part of the proposed design approach. Storyboards and a soundtrack are in development. The synopsis explains how shoes can represent someone's personality or which culture they identify with.

2. Project Proposal Proposal 1 (represent your self) Research Topic : Human Civilization Background : Under clothing have one type that cover a human foot which is a shoe. Motivation : The reason I would like to do choose this topic about shoes is because I really like shoes but still got people around me that don't really like to wearing a shoes, they more prefer to wear a slipper.

4. Research and Analysis Study on history of Sneaker. (5 brand) Interview : 6 boys and 4 girls to get a own opinion about sneakers and in same time get the idea for the final product.

5. Research and Analysis Go to city of Kuala Lumpur : to see a culture and people that wearing a different type of shoes. *kids wearing a supra shoes maybe influence by artist Justin Bieber.

6. Research and Analysis * What can I see now, every single person will choose the way they dress, what type of shoe, what color they like to wear, what design and shape. All this because of they interest and in same time it can become something that to represent them self, Research on the sneakers: NIKE Air Force One, Nike AF1 become something unique and from time to time it create a revolution, culture and fashion as well.

7. Research and Analysis *This shoe has create a phenomena and culture. Since it was released it make changes to all people that really like sneakers or wearing sneakers Some people say this sneaker is a uniform of hip-hop

8. Idea Development Develop idea : Go back to city of Kuala Lumpur, research on type of shoes. This process, I can see that a lot of people wearing a deferent type of shoes, color and shape. I create a simple video to show audience and in same time research about this phenomena. Is it true sneakers is create a new culture in your city.?

Idea Development The conclusion that I get is yes sneakers and shoe can be a tool to represent yourself, after I see and look at the people in that city, I can see that with different type of shoes is represent type of personality, and also it represent different of style and different culture that their represent for example have a people that dress represent a hip-hop culture.

23. Final Synopsis The Artist : HIRAIMIE ISMAIL Title : Represent your self. Sneakers as general, people just know is something to protect a foot but other than that sneakers can become a tools to represent something for example a personality and mood. The metaphor that has been chosen for this project is shoe(sneakers), and the subject matters is "Which culture that you represent?".This give a meaning that the artist have the issue about culture in our city and by using a sneakers as metaphor, people around can know or recognize your personality or which culture are you from. The ideas come when people talk a issue about culture in our city, the dress code and also what influence our especially young people mind. After that the issue become more interesting when a person ask " how we want to know a personality, style or activities for certain culture? and "how to recognize it?" This project is are projection mapping project by using a projection mapping skill and create a video of motion graphics and typography. Sneakers as a metaphor to convey a massage and the subject matters .
