To commemorate the sacrifice of our language martyres,
we celebrate 21 February with proper honour.
Victory Day
We achieved our victory against Pakistan on 16
December 1971. So every year we celebrate it
as our victory day.

17. LITERATURE
Bengali literature denotes the body of writings in the Bengali language.
We can define bengali literature by 3 parts.
Old Bengali Literature
The first works in Bengali, is generally known as the Charyapada. These are mystic
songs composed by various Buddhist seer-poets.
Middle Bengali Literature
Mangal-kavya, Mahabharat etc. are literatures of middle Bengali age.
19th Century
Michael Madhusudan Dutt, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, Kazi Nazrul Islam,
Rabindranath Tagore, Jibanananda Das and many more’s writings.
