grant access to 80M€ funding to utilise the FI-WARE
platform and create innovative applications

FI-ADOPT Target
The FI-ADOPT (Future Internet Core Platform - Adoption and
Sustainability Enabler) project will promote the use and adoption
of the EU FP7 FI-PPP Core Platform, the FI-WARE technologies
and assets.
FI-ADOPT will create a technological and business ecosystem,
supporting SMEs and web entrepreneurs to develop highly
innovative applications in the area of corporate and citizen’s
learning/training, healthy behaviour shaping and social integration
purposes, employing rich media, social networking, and/or mobile
apps and gaming principles.

• Learning and training: Indicative subareas will include: Staff training, Training on efficient
decision making including (but not limited) to crisis management, E-learning activities.
• Healthy behaviour shaping: Indicative subareas will include: Physical activity support, healthy
diet enforcement, increase awareness on health-related issues and first aid.
• Social integration: Indicative subareas will include: Language learning, Cultural integration,
Social integration of professionals, collective awareness., collaborative content consumption

• Organization of 4 innovation events in Trento, London, Madrid and Brussels for applicants
• Call information and guides for applicants will be provided on the FI-ADOPT webpage
• Promote the FI-ADOPT products and SMEs needs to the relevant policy/decision makers
Acceleration Activities of selected SMEs & Web Entrepreneurs :
• Organization of online webinars in areas of Go-to-market Strategies, Value Proposition, and
Investor Readiness
• Organization of Investment Readiness Programmes (IRP)
• Invitations to participate in a 14 Week Full Acceleration programs conducted by global
professionals online with select offline activities, inclusive of discounted fees, and
competition for free slots.
• Invitations to participate in Venture Events, organized by FI-ADOPT partners (free tickets).
• Access to relevant pitching events, offering free pitching & networking opportunities.
• Receive discounts for online services to facilitate preparation of different collaterals,
applications for patents and other services.
