2. LG are aiming to release a 60-inch Ultra HD giant TV before 2017
Whilst the moderately sized iPads can encompass one’s face
outside of the living room, a giant TV is the next colossal
purchase that will revolutionise homes.
3. How will a giant TV be made?
The announcement of a giant TV will lead many to query how
LG plan to produce what would inevitably be a breakthrough in
creative technology.
LG released that it plans to release two new paper-thin TV
panels, with one so flexible it can be rolled into a three
centimetre diameter tube, containing a resolution of 1200x810.
4. What are Ultra HD-capable flexible screens capable of?
A tremendously stirring outlook for the future, LG’s giant TV
announcement will instigate worldwide excitement regarding
giant TV’s and the possibility of their size invasion being
minimal.
“Flexible screens are an exciting prospect,” said Stephen
Graves, online deputy editor at Stuff.tv.
“First off, they're far more durable than conventional screens,
meaning that we can expect to see bigger, better screens in,
for example, aeroplanes," Graves added.
5. Would a giant TV be worth the money?
A giant TV on the marketing would likely equate to a giant fee
being transacted for its purchase.
Evan Kypreos, editor of TrustedReviews, warns that a rollable
giant TV would cost far too much for the average consumer.
"If you've got the cash to splash then a rollable TV could create
an experience similar to owning a projector, where you can
easily hide away the screen when not in use, but without the
noise and complexity of an actual projector,” Kypreos said.
