This document discusses the EUscreen project, which aims to aggregate and provide access to audiovisual content from different European organizations. It describes the technical infrastructure, selection policies, search tools, metadata standards, and processes for uploading, mapping, and linking content and metadata. The goal is to improve discovery, access, and reuse of cultural heritage audiovisual collections across Europe.

8. MINT
• Gebruiksvriendelijke tool om input obv XML om te
zetten naar XSD referentieschema
• Wordt gebruikt binnen ATHENA, EUscreen, CARARE,
Judaica, ECLAP, DCA en Linked Heritage

10. INGEST: MAPPING & ANNOTATIE
• Metadata schema's van de instellingen worden handmatig
gemapt naar het harvesting XML schema
• Metadata worden dan automatisch omgezet naar EBUcore
formaat
• Metadata worden geëxporteerd in EBUcore en EDM waarbij
nodige XSL omzettingen wordt voorzien
• Alle elementen worden eveneens omgezet in Resource
Description Framework (RDF) formaat
• Deze RDF-file wordt opgeslagen in een triplestore repository
van waaruit de data benaderd kunnen worden dmv SPARQL
