HISTORICAL RECORDS Ask your family about their past Old albums Birth certificates
ARTIFACT An artifact is an object Items from your grandparents? Something special they gave your family
BRING IN AN ARTIFACT AND SHARE YOUR STORY!
ARTIFACT Pick out something special Ask your parents for help Try to make it something from the past Is there a story behind it?
PRESENT/PAST Today has changed from years before us People lived their lives differently
HOW? They did different activities Wore different clothes Watched different cartoons Drove different cars
ASK YOUR FAMILY Ask how life has changed Ask aunt, uncles, grandparents, etc. When they were in first grade
